It may still be winter, but spring is almost here, and that means baseball season is not far behind.

This year, LAUP is once again partnering with the Los Angeles Dodgers to hold an LAUP "Dodger Day" event at Dodger Stadium, where supporters of early education will enjoy an exciting game while knowing they are making a difference.

Please mark your calendar for Sunday, June 13, when the Dodgers will play the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Dodger Stadium. Tickets will soon be on sale, and proceeds from every ticket sold through LAUP will be used to fund high-quality preschool for four-year-olds in Los Angeles County.

"It's an opportunity for families to enjoy themselves while knowing their tickets are helping LAUP provide an important service for children in their community," said Gary Mangiofico, Ph.D., CEO of LAUP. "It's going to be a fun and worthwhile event."

Last year, more than 1,500 people supported LAUP by attending Dodger Day on Sept. 14 to watch the Dodger beat the Pittsburgh Pirates. "We hope to exceed the number of attendees this year," Dr. Mangiofico said.
