"Dream Big" Auction online fundraiser is a tremendous success. This second annual event will take place from Monday Oct. 17 to Friday Oct. 28. But before it is launched, LAUP needs your help.

"We're asking our supporters to spread the word to friends, co-workers and family members who can donate items," said Braden Lay-Michaels, Director of Fund Development. "It's for a good cause, and we welcome everyone's participation. Proceeds from this auction will directly benefit LAUP programs and children, and every donated item will help us move closer to our goal of making high-quality preschool accessible to all four-year-olds in Los Angeles County."

For this year's auction, LAUP needs merchandise such as rare collectibles, business or personal services or access to unique events. Suggested items also include airline tickets/miles, electronics, retail gift cards, sporting event tickets, as well as weekend or week-long getaways, including at vacation homes.

With help from supporters like you, last year, LAUP raised nearly $16,000 and sold 82 items during last year's auction. "We want to surpass those numbers this year," Lay-Michaels said.
