On Thursday November 18th, LAUP's Corporate Council will host a discussion on early childhood education at the City Club on Bunker Hill. The event is entitled "Invest in Our Children-Invest in the Future of Greater Los Angeles" and will be co-hosted by the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Dr. John Deasy, Deputy Superintendent, LAUSD, will be the guest speaker. Kaplan Early Learning Co. and UPS are the two event sponsors. The Corporate Council's inaugural event will provide corporate leaders the opportunity to learn about the importance of investing in preschool.
