LAUP Receives Statewide Award For Innovation, World-Class Service and Performance Excellence
LAUP on March 19 accepted a statewide Eureka award recognizing the organization for its adherence to superior quality, efficiency and performance excellence standards.
LAUP was recognized by The California Council for Excellence (CCE), which administers the California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE), during an awards ceremony held in Newport Beach. This is the second time LAUP has received the CAPE award, the first time being in 2008.
“Since our creation in 2004, LAUP has been committed to adhering to the highest quality and business standards aimed at maximizing the efficiency of our operations, as well as the satisfaction with our preschool funding services,” said Dr. Gary Mangiofico, CEO.
“This prestigious award reflects our hard work in brokering funding, building the Pre-K community, and creating alignment within the early childhood education sector,” Dr. Mangiofico continued. “The recognition is also a reaffirmation of our high expectations for quality, efficiency and fiscal responsibility, to which LAUP and our preschool providers are dedicated.”
The statewide award program, which emulates the national Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program, recognizes organizations that demonstrate superior performance in seven key business areas. They are: leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement and knowledge management, human resources, process management and business results.
