LAUP Board Member Recognized as One of the Most Influential Hispanics in America
Dr. Darline Robles, Superintendent of Schools, Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) has been selected as one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in Education by Hispanic Business Magazine.
Dr. Celia C. Ayala, COO of LAUP, received the same recognition in 2008.
Since 2002, Dr. Robles - a board member since 2005 - has led LACOE, which is the nation's largest regional education service agency. She oversees 80 school districts and some 1.7 million students. Throughout her 30-year career, she has focused on ensuring quality education for all children.
