Brain Development

Did you know the brain of a four-year-old is amazingly active and ready to learn? Since you enrolled your child in preschool, you are giving your preschooler the chance to develop the brain at am amazing rate through age-appropriate, play-based learning opportunities. From talking, singing, ready, and playing, your child will rapidly develop their learning capacity and social skills. This is where your role as an engaged parent is most important! Studies show that an environment with range of diversity directly benefits the brain of a three-to-five year old.  Reading to your child each day will help your child's intelligence expand. By the age of four, a child knows 1,500 words, and when they reach five, they'll have a vocabulary of 3,000 words.

Our LAUP classrooms provide a nurturing and educationally enriching environment every day. Our classrooms are filled with picture and alphabet books, posters, primers, and staffed with high-quality early education directors, teachers, and assistants. More importantly, our preschools are designed to encourage a child to explore, experiment, and fall in love with learning.
